aussies are cool

crazy aussies, i tell ya

completely butchering the English language

real dodgy English.

so t0s4juku has an exchange program with two schools in australia
these students came this year, really fun group of kids
they were all really, really different
and all really, really insane (puwahahaha)

these are pics from our crazy excursion day
we went to a botanical garden, a museum dedicated to a kochi hero
and a crazy art museum

hopefully they had a good time, i did!

they're all gone now, it's pretty cool having people you know
all over the world!

hope these kids got something real precious from these short
weeks in Kochi..

and not just a bunch of calories
from creme puffs that they made me buy..

ps venthan wanted a shoutout, even if no one reads this blog

just another sunday

Nishi-sensei has a quite a history with the church
and Hamada-sensei has been trying
to get Nishi-sensei to come visit Tosa Church again
so he came! success!

after that i cruised over into the depths of ino
to a japanese paper museum/factory

they were having an event at qraud
of music, food, crafts, gifts, fun

some buddies performed (Guy and Mia)

and i got to talk to this girl.
she calls herself tabineko.

i've seen her before,
and was just blown away at the way she carried herself
she's really, really, really weird,
but really, really, really, really awesome

just full-on herself

and she's got a killer voice
im always looking forward to her crazy facebook posts and blog entries

side note, bon voyage mia,
hope you're having a good time!

i've met some real amazing people!

i met this girl five? six? years ago
she homestayed at my house
it was a real short exchange program but we got to be pretty good friends

she was.. an 8th grader? when i met her,
now she's a university student, full-on adult.
it was cool chatting andcatching up

it seems like there are a bunch of theme parks in japan
but they're all ghost towns (esp in this weather)

it was pretty blistering cold.. 5 degrees c?
but one thing i didn't expect but really like about my job
is that it allows me to travel!
never thought i'd be able to go to washuuzan with kids
and get paid for it!

this place is complete with real brazillians!

smile: a windbeat live @ A'bar

 a teacher from another school..
that shall not be mentioned..
because they're always number 1 in speech contests..
and always number 1 in everything academic..
threw a small event at a small bar called A'bar!
they're actually all english teachers though.

the opening act was the ukuladies!
they were so cute!

this girl was real friendly, we went for a round after

 main event! windbeat!

 greeeeat show, loved the music.

 went to tone after,
my usual spot after hirome.

 real good people,
on weekends a dj spins vinyl.. pretty sick..

all in all, another real good weekend!

last month i had a real good night out with some teachers

the art teachers at this school
are pretty much the coolest people

holding a big camera gets you girls, apparently..

 acchan taking a piss

this is my spot, if i'm out i'm usually here

 went to yokoji-'s spot,
best gyoza in kochi, i think!

before that we went to this cool little showa spot,
real old fashioned, cool posters and toys around.
and cheap! but not that good..haha
