Century Ride! (and Kohei)

i haven't updated in a while :(

i'm alive though!
sept 27 was the honolulu century ride
100 miles or 160km

silly spokes!

there was about .. 8 of us?
on fixed gears.
people rode past us and called us crazy :)

i didn't think i'd do it,
but i did all 100 miles!
total time was about 8 hours.
i think i could have done it faster but
we waited for a lot of people at the rest stops
about 1 hr of rest time?

wasn't tooooo sore the next day,
but then again i wasn't pushing myself that hard


but that night, kohei said he wanted to get fucked up
(he let me stay at his house in kyoto)
so i bought him some drinks

guess which one is kohei!

so the idea behind poor boy paradise
is that Seth and Sau try to eat as cheap as possible in paradise.
Sau, being the brilliant guy that he is,
decides that todays challenge is how much food you can get for
five dollars at whole foods

sau with:

seth with:
rice, nori, yogurt
+ banana

aly and nimz with
various teas
+sanrio ice creamz

maxdesu coming in with a pound of meatloaf!

apparently the poor boys don't waste food,
so i had to eat the whole thing
