aussies are cool

crazy aussies, i tell ya

completely butchering the English language

real dodgy English.

so t0s4juku has an exchange program with two schools in australia
these students came this year, really fun group of kids
they were all really, really different
and all really, really insane (puwahahaha)

these are pics from our crazy excursion day
we went to a botanical garden, a museum dedicated to a kochi hero
and a crazy art museum

hopefully they had a good time, i did!

they're all gone now, it's pretty cool having people you know
all over the world!

hope these kids got something real precious from these short
weeks in Kochi..

and not just a bunch of calories
from creme puffs that they made me buy..

ps venthan wanted a shoutout, even if no one reads this blog

just another sunday

Nishi-sensei has a quite a history with the church
and Hamada-sensei has been trying
to get Nishi-sensei to come visit Tosa Church again
so he came! success!

after that i cruised over into the depths of ino
to a japanese paper museum/factory

they were having an event at qraud
of music, food, crafts, gifts, fun

some buddies performed (Guy and Mia)

and i got to talk to this girl.
she calls herself tabineko.

i've seen her before,
and was just blown away at the way she carried herself
she's really, really, really weird,
but really, really, really, really awesome

just full-on herself

and she's got a killer voice
im always looking forward to her crazy facebook posts and blog entries

side note, bon voyage mia,
hope you're having a good time!

another night out~

had another real good night out
always meeting new people, making new friends,
hopefully learning new things

the rainbow connection t0s4juku -- makiki exchange program
has really made a huge impact on my life.
i've met some real amazing people!

i met this girl five? six? years ago
she homestayed at my house
it was a real short exchange program but we got to be pretty good friends

she was.. an 8th grader? when i met her,
now she's a university student, full-on adult.
it was cool chatting andcatching up

of course, off to tone

caught some fun snaps :)
